OxBridge Centre is a provider of expert tuition for students from Key Stage 1 to 4, and our 11+ Mock Exams are part of our mission to empower our students to maximise their potential academically. As a marker, you will play an essential role by utilising your subject knowledge in Maths or English to provide students with clear, detailed and actionable feedback to inspire progress and confidence.

Location & Timing:

OxBridge Centre, Willow House, 47 West Street, Sutton, SM1 1SJ

10AM until 5PM.

    Dates:

    Induction Session: Saturday 24th of June (10AM - 2PM)

    Round 1 (Multiple Choice) Marking: Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th of July

    Round 2 (Written Exam) Marking: Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th of July

    Pay: £9.50 - £12.50 per hour

    Successful applicants will:

    • Have current knowledge of the UK 11+ examination syllabus.
    • Have Teaching/Assessment experience in the relevant subject.
    • Have high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
    • Work extremely well under time constraints.
    • Have a demonstrable eye for detail.

    Responsibilities of a Marker:

    • Attend training/induction meetings to standardise process and ensure best standard of practice.
    • Attend OxBridge Centre Sutton (SM1 1SJ) at the above mentioned dates and times.
    • Mark written responses accurately and consistently in line with Mark Scheme guidance.
    • Providing detailed and actionable feedback on areas of student weakness.
    • Submit completed marking within provided timescales.
    • Ensure data entry is completed in a timely manner.

    Upon receiving your application, you will be sent a Questionnaire in which you must let us know the subject you are interest in marking for, as well as the round/date availability for the Mock Exam. Following this, we will then be sending the corresponding Marking Task for you to complete in order to demonstrate your fit for the role. Please note that the initial communication may end up in your Spam/Junk folder, so if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of your application, please double check this folder.
