OxBridge Centre is a provider of expert tuition for students from Key Stage 1 to 4, and our 11+ Mock Exams are part of our mission to empower our students to maximise their potential academically. As a marker, you will play an essential role by utilising your subject knowledge in Maths or English to provide students with clear, detailed and actionable feedback to inspire progress and confidence.

Location & Timing:

• Kings College School, Southside, Wimbledon Common, London SW19 4TT
• 10.30AM until completion of marking duties.

Dates:

Round 1: Saturday 1st of April

Round 2: Saturday 15th of April

    • Multiple Choice Exams
    • £9 per hour
  • Round 2
    • Written Exams
    • £3 per Maths Paper
    • £5 per English Paper

Successful applicants will:

• Have current knowledge of the UK 11+ examination syllabus.
• Have Teaching/Assessment experience in the relevant subject.
• Have high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
• Work extremely well under time constraints.
• Have a demonstrable eye for detail.

Responsibilities of a Marker:

• Attend training/induction meetings to standardise process and ensure best standard of practice.
• Mark written responses accurately and consistently in line with Mark Scheme guidance.
• Submit completed marking within provided timescales.
• Ensure data entry is completed in line with marking in a timely manner.

Upon receiving your application, you will be sent a Questionnaire in which you must let us know the subject you are interest in marking for, as well as the round/date availability for the Mock Exam. Following this, we will then be sending the corresponding Marking Task for you to complete in order to demonstrate your fit for the role. Please note that the initial communication may end up in your Spam/Junk folder, so if you do not hear from us by day 2 of your application, please double check this folder.
